The Venetian Convention Center
At The Venetian Las Vegas, a multi-year convention center refresh is transforming five levels of hospitality and event space through refined finishes, phased execution, and careful coordination within an active resort environment.
Coalition provided glazing and specialty finish services for the tenant improvement project, delivering mirror systems, polished brass trim, and custom-fabricated elements designed to support the project’s elevated interior experience.
Scope & Technical Execution
Coalition’s scope included 25,000 square feet of 1/4-inch clear mirror, 1,000 square feet of 5/16-inch specialty gold mirror, and polished Muntz brass J-channel trim from Sierra Metals. The work spans Levels 01 through 05, with phased completion occurring from 2024 through 2026.
The mirror package required close attention to fabrication, layout, and installation sequencing. Oversized specialty gold mirrors from Pulp Studios were cut in-shop to improve accuracy, reduce field adjustments, and support the project schedule. Clear mirrors from Avalon Glass & Mirror were coordinated alongside the brass trim scope to create clean transitions and a consistent high-end finish across multiple levels.
Phased Around an Active Resort
Working within one of Las Vegas’ busiest hospitality environments required disciplined planning. The convention center remained active throughout the refresh, with guest activity, event schedules, other trades, and evolving site conditions all influencing access and sequencing.
Coalition supported the phased installation strategy through detailed field measurements, in-house shop drawings, and coordinated field modifications where required. This approach helped maintain alignment with the architectural intent while minimizing disruption to active areas of the property.
Custom Fit & Finish
The project demanded precision at both the fabrication and installation stages. Brass trim, oversized mirrors, and specialty finish materials each required careful handling and exact coordination with adjacent millwork, walls, and interior systems.
By resolving layout details early and completing as much preparation as possible before installation, Coalition helped streamline field work while preserving the quality expected in a luxury resort setting.
