The Venetian Clock Tower
One of The Venetian Las Vegas’ most recognizable exterior features, the Clock Tower, was refreshed through a carefully coordinated glazing scope that preserved the landmark’s character while improving access, functionality and long-term serviceability.
Completed in 2024, the project brought together custom storefront systems, wide stile doors, punched openings, specialty glass, and tailored finishes to support a renewed architectural expression at the heart of the resort.
Scope & Technical Execution
Coalition provided design-assist, fabrication and installation services for 1,400 square feet of wide stile doors and radius storefront systems. The scope included custom vestibules, Arcadia WS512 doors, AG451 storefronts, medium stile punched openings, bespoke Venetian door pulls, and coordinated hardware integration.
The south vestibule and west breezeway installations used Arcadia systems adapted to the tower’s architectural conditions. At select locations, fixed windows were replaced with MS362 doors to provide maintenance access for future LED servicing without disrupting the overall facade expression.
Every frame was glazed in the field, allowing Coalition to confirm fit, alignment and finish quality under actual site conditions. This approach was especially important given the project’s radius conditions, existing structure and high-visibility location.
Materials & Finishes
The material palette was selected to complement the Venetian’s established architectural language while integrating new systems cleanly into the existing tower.
Glasswerks provided low-iron, translucent glass with digital muntin prints, reinforcing the tower’s historic character while supporting modern performance and fabrication needs. Finish coordination included Arcadia AB4 medium bronze anodized at the vestibules, Linetec woodgrain finish at Level 01, and bronze powder coat by Access Solutions at Level 02.
Wide stile profiles were integrated into AG451 storefront systems to maintain a unified visual language across doors, storefronts and surrounding facade elements.
Coordinated Installation
The Venetian Clock Tower required careful coordination between new glazing systems, existing conditions, access equipment and adjacent construction activities. Coalition worked closely with Moser Architecture Studio, Tre Builders, Arcadia and other project partners to align fabrication strategy, finish details and installation sequencing.
Arcadia and Coalition divided fabrication responsibilities to support both schedule and quality control. On site, GC-provided scaffolding and scissor lifts enabled safe access, while prefabricated templates helped improve accuracy from layout through final fit.
A Landmark Renewed
The completed VCR Clock Tower reflects the balance required in a high-profile hospitality renovation: preserving a familiar silhouette while integrating new systems that improve performance, access and enhance maintainability. Through design-assist coordination, custom fabrication, and precise field installation, Coalition Glass helped refresh one of The Venetian’s signature architectural features with care and technical discipline.
